Terms of Service

By accessing or using PixPause ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using PixPause, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or have parental consent if younger) and that you agree to these terms.

2. Use of the Platform

You may use PixPause for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the platform or its games
• Use automated tools to submit scores or manipulate the leaderboard
• Post fake, incentivized, misleading, spam, or off-topic content in Community
• Upload images or link videos you don't have the right to share, or that are illegal, harassing, or infringe someone else's rights
• Impersonate other users, brands, or create misleading account names
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to scrape, copy, or redistribute our game code, PixProof content, brand profiles, or assets without permission

3. User Accounts & Community

You may optionally sign in with a Google account to save scores or post in Community. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for anything posted under it. Community posts and comments go live immediately without pre-approval; any signed-in user can report content that breaks these terms, and we reserve the right to remove any post, comment, or image, or suspend accounts, at our discretion — including content that isn't actually about a real product experience, or that misrepresents a brand or product.

4. Leaderboard

Scores submitted to the global leaderboard are publicly visible. We reserve the right to remove scores that appear to be fraudulent or obtained through exploitation of game bugs. Score decisions are final.

5. PixProofs — Sourcing & Editorial Opinion

Each PixProof separates factual claims from opinion: "The Hype" reflects a vendor's own marketing claim, cited to its source. "The Reality" is drawn only from real, cited sources (e.g. GitHub activity, Hacker News discussion, published reviews) — never invented. "The Verdict" is AI-assisted editorial opinion, clearly labeled as such, and represents our judgment, not a guarantee. Product names, logos, and trademarks referenced in PixProofs belong to their respective owners; no affiliation is implied.

6. Intellectual Property

All games, artwork, and code on PixPause are original works created by our team. Brand/company names and logos shown on our Company Profiles pages belong to their respective owners and are used for factual identification only — no affiliation or endorsement is implied. By posting in Community, you keep ownership of what you post but grant us a license to display it on the platform; you're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload or link. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from our games, PixProof content, or brand profiles without explicit written permission.

7. Advertisements

PixPause displays advertisements via Google AdSense to fund the platform. Ads are served by Google and subject to Google's advertising policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

PixPause is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the platform will be available 100% of the time, that games will be free of bugs, or that any PixProof's verdict will match your own experience with a product.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PixPause and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including purchase decisions made based on a PixProof.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced on the homepage. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
