About PixPause

Four things, one site

The Anti-BS Engine is the main focus: sourced, hype-vs-reality product PixProofs spanning mobile, PC, hardware, peripherals, SaaS & AI tools, games, movies, automobiles, books, home appliances, and food. Every claim traces back to a real source (GitHub activity, Hacker News discussion, government recall/safety databases, real reviews) — never invented sentiment, never a number we can't point to. Alongside that: a real Community where people post text, photos, or a video link from any platform to ask for reviews or share feedback on real products and brands (/community/); Company Profiles — sourced founding history, timelines, and product lists for the brands behind what we review (/brands/); and where PixPause started, a free browser arcade — 59 hand-crafted retro games, no downloads, no installs, no accounts required to play (/games/).

How the games work

All games run entirely in your browser using HTML5 Canvas and vanilla JavaScript — no plugins, no downloads. Scores are optionally saved to a global leaderboard if you sign in with Google; play is always free and anonymous play is always available.

Honesty, including about ourselves

We don't publish stats we can't verify. If you see a number on this site, it's real — pulled from our own data, not rounded up for effect. That standard applies to this About page, our Community feed, and our brand profiles just as much as it applies to any product PixProof.
