The castle wakes at midnight. Hold the great hall against wave after wave of monsters. Slash them with your sword, throw daggers, and chain kills fast to raise your combo. An Ogre boss arrives every fifth wave.

Castlevania-style monster hunt — slash waves of hell hounds, ghosts and werewolves, with an Ogre boss every fifth wave. Completely free — no download, no account, no install. Just open and play in your browser.
Monsters pour into the castle hall from both sides, wave after wave. Run, jump and double jump between the ledges, and slash anything in reach with your sword. Throw daggers to hit from far away; they do double damage, but you only carry a few, so grab the dagger packs monsters drop. Kill quickly to build your combo: every 4 kills in a row raises your points multiplier, up to x5. Ghosts fade out and cannot be hit while faded, flying eyes shoot orbs you can cut out of the air, and an Ogre boss arrives every fifth wave. Clear a wave without getting hit for a Perfect bonus.

Night Hunter is a side-on monster-slaying game in the style of classic Castlevania. Instead of walking through levels, you defend one ruined castle hall against waves of monsters. Each enemy needs a different answer: jump over hell hounds, wait out fading ghosts, cut flying eyes' orbs from the air, and hit fire skulls with daggers. An Ogre boss with a huge club arrives every fifth wave.
Yes. Night Hunter plays like a classic Castlevania game: a caped knight with a sword fights monsters in a gothic castle, with jumps, throwing daggers and a boss. The difference is that you defend one castle hall against waves of monsters instead of exploring a map.
Stand just outside the reach of his club and slash, then step back when he raises it. Throwing daggers do double damage, so save a few for him. The Ogre arrives on every fifth wave and gets tougher each time.
Each kill made within about 2.5 seconds of the last one adds to your combo. Every 4 kills in a row raise the points multiplier by one, up to x5. Getting hit resets the combo to zero.
