About Type Blitz

Type Blitz is a neon retro typing speed game. Words appear on screen — type them correctly before time runs out. You have 60 seconds and 3 lives. Miss a word completely (hit Space or Enter with a wrong word) and you lose a life. Lose all 3 and the game ends early.

Chain correct words to build your combo multiplier — up to ×8. One miss resets it. Your WPM (words per minute) is calculated from correctly typed words only.

Difficulty Levels

• Easy — short 3–5 letter common words, generous time per word
• Medium — 4–8 letter words, moderate time pressure
• Hard — 6–12 letter words, fast pace, score multiplied ×1.5
• Insane — technical jargon, compound words, score multiplied ×2.5

Scoring & Tips

• Each correct word = word length × combo multiplier points
• Build combos — ×2 at 3 streak, ×4 at 6, ×8 at 10
• Focus on accuracy over speed — wrong characters cost time
• The upcoming words are shown below the current word — plan ahead
