Minefield is a retro-styled logic puzzle inspired by the timeless classic. Your mission: reveal every safe cell on a grid that hides a number of buried mines. Every revealed cell shows a digit from 1–8 telling you how many mines surround it — use those numbers as clues to deduce exactly where the danger lies.
What makes Minefield special is its three-tier difficulty system. Easy mode gives you a manageable 9×9 grid with 10 mines — perfect for newcomers. Medium scales to a 16×16 arena with 40 mines, and Hard throws you onto a punishing 30×16 battlefield with 99 mines. Your fastest winning time on each difficulty is saved locally so you always have a target to beat.
How to Play
Left-click (or tap) any cell to reveal it. Your first click is always guaranteed safe.
Revealed cells show a number (1–8) indicating how many of the 8 surrounding cells contain mines.
Right-click (or long-press on mobile) to plant a 🚩 flag on cells you believe contain mines.
Use the numbers as logic clues to determine which unrevealed cells are safe and which are deadly.
Reveal all non-mine cells to win. Click a mine and the game ends instantly.

Tips & Strategy
Start in a corner or center: Corners often cascade open large safe areas on your first click, giving you maximum information instantly.
Flag confidently, not speculatively: Only flag a cell when the surrounding numbers logically confirm it's a mine. Wild guessing wastes time and creates confusion.
Count remaining mines per number: If a "2" cell already has 2 flagged neighbours, all its other hidden neighbours are safe — reveal them immediately.
On Hard mode: Some situations require a guess. Accept it, pick the cell with the lowest mine probability, and move on. Even expert players guess 2–3 times per game.
