About Astro Dodge

Astro Dodge drops you into the cockpit of a lone starfighter navigating an endless asteroid belt. Rocks of all sizes hurtle toward you from every direction — small fast ones, large slow behemoths that split into fragments when destroyed, and damaged boulders that glow red when near breaking. Your job: stay alive as long as possible while racking up the highest score you can.

What sets Astro Dodge apart is its escalating wave system. Every 15 seconds a new wave begins, bringing faster asteroids, higher density, and a wave-clear bonus. Four power-ups drop randomly from destroyed asteroids: Triple Shot spreads your laser into three beams, Shield absorbs one collision hit, Speed Boost doubles your thrust, and the Nuke clears the entire screen instantly.

How to Play

1. Use arrow keys or WASD to pilot your ship across the screen in any direction.
2. Hold SPACE to fire your laser cannon continuously.
3. Destroy asteroids to earn points — large ones split into smaller, faster fragments.
4. Collect glowing power-up orbs that drop from destroyed asteroids.
5. Avoid collisions — you have 3 hull points. Losing all three ends the game.
6. Survive waves to earn bonus points and climb the leaderboard.

Controls

Tips & Strategy

• Stay near the centre: Hugging walls limits your escape directions. From the centre you can dodge in any direction instantly.
• Shoot large asteroids first: A big rock splits into 3 smaller, faster fragments. Clear big ones before they multiply.
• Shield is king: One Shield orb means surviving a hit that would otherwise end your run. Always chase the blue orb.
• Nuke timing: Don't waste the pink Nuke on a sparse field. Save it for wave transitions when asteroid density peaks.
• Wave 5+: Stop trying to clear every asteroid and focus purely on survival. Staying alive generates more points than kill bonuses at high waves.
